"Man in the Mirror" was solo written by MiMo in a single day, but he describes the inspiration behind the song as a lifelong endeavor.  

"I am constantly striving to improve myself," said MiMo, "whether it be in music, health and fitness, or becoming a more patient and kind person. No matter what I achieve, I know there's always room to grow." 

"Man in the Mirror" takes a vigorous leap beyond your typical inspirational rock anthem. From the song's opening line, MiMo makes it clear that he will achieve his desired transformation no matter what, even if it's a relentlessly painful process. 

"The lyrics express a willingness to shed the old self, no matter how challenging, in order to forge a new and improved self," said MiMo. "I hope that as listeners explore this song, they feel empowered to finally become the person they envision. In the end, the journey towards becoming the person you aspire to be is where true happiness resides. May this song be a companion in your pursuit of that happiness."
