Laddermen is an alternative rock band originated in Texas, U.S. based out of Luzern, Switzerland.

After three successful singles this year, which have brought the Lucerne post-punk band numerous airplays/placements throughout Europe, South America and the U.S., the long-awaited debut album has been released.

«Special Kind of Violence» is a reflection on a young Texan who left his country to redefine the concept of home in Switzerland with bittersweet melancholy. Combining influences from Editors, The Killers, and Interpol, Laddermen's haunting songwriting aims to interject the rock revival scene of the early 2000s into the bloodstream of new generations.
