NEWS - Italian Psychedelic Stoner Rockers DESERT WAVE sign to ARGONAUTA RECORDS; "Deafening Silence" Vinyl Edition out in November

DESERT WAVE was formed in 2016, when Drugo (drums) and Logan (bass) were already playing in a Doom Metal band to then they decided to break away and form their own that had a psychedelic/stonerstyle. After placing an ad looking for a guitarist, Burton immediately showed up and the musical understanding started right away. Their musical influences on the other hand were quite similar, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, 70's hard rock, Seattle grunge, up to the granite desert sound of Kyuss.

With "Deafening Silence" they wanted a more psychedelic sound than their 2017 debut "Lost in Dunes", much more like the long jam sessions played in the rehearsal room. And after its release in November 2022, the album received an high praise both from public and critics, with top reviews and positive feedback within the whole community.
