All music and lyrics are written by Dan Heide ( (Ljungblut, ex-Zeromancer) and arranged by the whole band.
Ten songs written in a period when a lot of big changes were happening. Dealing with loss, grief, depression - but also love, hope, belief and personal success. A highly emotional and deeply personal record - made by a band who hadn’t been in the same room for 15 years, but with a common hunger to let the world know what X-pleasure is able to do.
X-pleasure is a carrier of long musical traditions. With easy chord progressions, strong melodies and lyrics. Authentic, raw and powerful with a mellow and melodic rock sound.
The ten songs on this album is not intentially crafted, but written in a period of time with pure inspiration.
Recorded in the legendary studio Velvet Recordings (previously called Studio Nova) in Østfold, Norway, where countless Norwegian top-selling bands and artists have their spirits glued into the walls.. His Master´s Voice was produced and engineered by Christer Krogh and mastered by Dave Collins Mastering in LA.
