Her Songs is a global female collective of producers, musicians, songwriters and artists. United by  a mutual mission to shine a light on female producers and artists and to celebrate female collaboration, today the group are sharing their the new single "Just My Luck", the second single to be lifted from upcoming EP 'Toronto Vol. 2', due for release August 14th.

Consisting of London based Dane Marie Dahlstrom, Brooklyn based Colombian Dani Murcia, Christchurch New Zealand-based Emily C Browning, French Londoner The Naked Eye and London based Emmavie - Her Songs have a sound that traverses genres including neo-soul, R&B and pop.

Collectively inspired by greats of the past like Musiq Soulchild and Erykah Badu, to more modern contemporaries such as H.E.R., Rosalía and Solange, Her Songs see their collective as a unit which will become a portal to spread the word about talented female producers and artists, that otherwise might not have the means to enter the industry.

Speaking on the project, the girls added: "The idea of Her Songs is to show what can be achieved in a short amount of time with some basic gear, a handful of femme songwriter/producers, a videographer and a tight budget. We want to normalise the image of a woman in the producer chair, and break some unspoken rules in the industry about the process of making and releasing music. This EP is our way of showing that writing doesn't have to always be exclusive and secret, it can be collaborative, open, inclusive, and light hearted too."
