"Blondes have more fun' the new single finds Francis Lung fusing glorious, glass-half-full melodies with twinkling piano and heartfelt acoustic guitar. It's another exploration of this new sonic approach for Lung that takes inspiration from the work of Harry Nilsson, Stephin Merritt, Maurice Deebank (Felt), etc, whilst thematically it touches upon Lung's newfound sobriety – a topic pertinent to the new album – and ideas of wanting to escape.
