Bij ons zijn de Britse Tin Pigeons nog vrij onbekend (om niet te schrijven helemaal onbekend), maar in thuisland Groot-Brittannië kan deze band uit de East Midlands al een tijdje rekenen op knappe recensies en airplay op de BBC.

Sparks is hun derde ep in hun vrij jonge carrière en de drie tracks die je op deze digitale ep vindt passen perfect bij de indiefolk van Jake Bugg, The Kooks, The Decemberists of Noah And The Whale. Verrassend of vernieuwend klinkt dit geenszins, maar het is zeker de moeite waard als je gek bent van dit genre.

Over here, The Tin Pigeons still are relatively unknown (not to say completely unknown), but in its homeland Britain this band from the East Midlands already can count on great reviews and airplay on the BBC. Sparks is the third EP in the relatively young career of these lads and the three tracks on this digital EP perfectly fit with the popular indie folk of Jake Bugg, The Kooks, The Decemberists or Noah And The Whale. Not surprising or innovativing, but certainly worth checking out if you 're keen on this genre as you surely will hear more from these guys.
